Privacy Policy

313 is a title studio for short videos. Clients send us a clip; we transcribe it, write on-screen title options for it, let them try the titles on the video, make the finished videos and, if they ask, publish them. This policy explains what information we handle to do that, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and what you can ask of us. The service is run by 313 (“we”). Questions: privacy@kickertitles.com.
What we collect
- Your account. Name, username, email address, a password (stored only as a one-way hash), the workspace you belong to and your role in it, and a profile photo if you add one or connect Instagram (we then use your Instagram profile picture).
- Your clips. The videos you upload or link (from Frame.io, Google Drive or Instagram), and what we make from them: the audio, a transcript, a preview video, thumbnails, the title options, your choices and edits, the title's look and timing, and the finished videos.
- Publishing details. Captions, collaborators, cover frames and notes you give us for publishing, and the results of a test (views) once it has run.
- Connected accounts. When you connect Frame.io or Instagram, an access token (stored encrypted) and basic account details (for Instagram: your account's ID, username and account type). We use them only to find and download the clips you point us to, and to show your profile picture. With Instagram we read your own media list only to find a reel you link to.
- How you use the service. Actions inside the service (for example, which titles you pick, play or edit) to improve the title options we write for you. Basic technical logs (IP address, browser, time) to keep the service secure.
- Billing. If you pay, our payment provider handles your card; we keep only the payment status and amounts.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you or your company signed up for (contract).
- To keep accounts and data secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems (legitimate interest).
- To improve the title options we write for you, using your own choices (legitimate interest). We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
- To meet legal obligations, for example invoices.
Who helps us
We use service providers that process data only on our instructions:
- a hosting provider (servers, database and backups),
- a speech-to-text service (it receives the clip's audio and returns the transcript),
- a language-processing service that drafts title options from the transcript (it receives the transcript and your instructions),
- an email delivery service, and a payment provider,
- the platforms you connect: Adobe (Frame.io), Google (Drive) and Meta (Instagram), under their own terms and privacy policies.
Some of these providers are in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the safeguards the law requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded original videos: until the finished videos are published, at most 30 days. Linked originals are not kept after we prepare the clip.
- Preview videos and timeline strips: 90 days. Audio and thumbnails: 365 days.
- Finished videos: 30 days after they are made.
- Share links for votes: 14 days.
- Transcripts, titles and your choices: while your workspace is active, so you can come back to them.
- Connected-account tokens: until you disconnect, or the platform tells us you removed our access.
- Backups: database copies up to 14 days, full server copies up to 4 weeks.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your data in the service. The workspace owner can disconnect Frame.io or Instagram at any time (account menu → Connections), and anyone can remove our access from inside Instagram. You may ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format: write to privacy@kickertitles.com. We answer within 30 days. See also how to delete your data. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs: one that keeps you signed in and one that protects forms against forgery. Your browser also remembers small preferences (like the theme or a panel's width) on your device. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, access tokens are encrypted, and private videos are only served to signed-in members of their workspace, or through a share link you create.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell account owners by email before it applies.
